T.D. 5 is at the moment struggling with dry air entrainment, and this has led to the system becoming largely disorganized. While I won't completely write off this system, I really have doubts that it will ever attain Tropical Storm status. I expect a 35mph, very disorganized system at best upon landfall.
I think that the 11am N.H.C. discussion serves up a nice slice of reality on this system by stating that the main effects of this system (rain), may well likely be felt well removed from the center. Areas of the central Florida panhandle west to Miss. could really take the brunt of this, albeit the main effects should be localized heavy rains.
I'm going to end my first entry on here now. I hope to post more in the future, and will provide more information and links as I get more comfortable with this style and format. Stay safe all and keep tabs with the N.H.C. for up to date information and advisories.

Thanks! The ull's of 2010 have been something to see! Without them, I cringe to imagine what may have already been. I still think something big will eventually find a time and place to form this season. I just hope its well out to sea, and stays there! This site seems good to me btw. You have lots of great resources and some stellar bloggers, I'm here to stay!
Yea can you imagine if TD2, Bonnie, and this one was not affected by a ULL and even Alex had trouble for a while... it could have been a cat 4 without shear early on.
