Hello everyone this is my first blog post on here i love tropical weather but im not well versed in it like levi32 and others but i know some things if i get something wrong or if you have a different opinion leave a comment about what you bilieve. anyway lets get down to it the atlantic is showing signs of life as there is a tropical wave that is organizing out by the cape verde islands and this wave has strong model support but its too early to say how strong and where its going to go but right now the models are pretty bullish on intensity and there expecting a recurve but again its still too far to speculate but odds are it will recurve. Now as we get into the last week of august and into september we should see an upswing in tropical cyclone formation as the conditions are improving each and every day as there are less ull to shear systems dry air is diminishing across the basin and ssts are amazingly high we could have beasts out there to track and unfortunately i see some of them hitting the us i still see a total of 15-17 storms this year as we are still on average for this time this year and even though this year hasnt lived up to expectations so far still have a plan to evacuate if necessary and get supplies like plywood and canned foods because this year can still be a dangerous one.
thank you for reading my blog again this is my first and getting a feel for how this site works if you have any questions or complaints or if you disagree please comment it could help me a lot in my learning of tropical meteorology thank you and ill have another blog when a system is named.
