Tropical Storm Matthew will *eventually* head north, very confident on that!

Tropical Storm Matthew is moving towards the west at a good clip. The storm continues to become better organized. I see no reason for this not to be a Hurricane by Saturday. The NHC doesn’t forecast it, but does have Hurricane Watches to be on the safe side. I feel the NHC actually has a good handle of the storm. As a low cuts off form the jet stream in a few days, this should more then be enough to take whatever Matthew is in a few days, up and into Florida. Folks on the Peninsula need to make sure they are prepared for a Hurricane, not saying it will be one, but always be cautious. I feel this will be a Hurricane, possibly a major. Those waters have not been touched since Alex formed back in late June. So much heat, something needs to break. I don’t have a run yet, but I’ll be making one soon, as some people like to call it “REED Forecast Model Run”
.
Lisa is out there, and will stay out there. I don’t see any new systems forming until Matthew heads north of the Caribbean, where the wake of the storm may spur things up. Hurricane Season is not by any means over and we should have some late activity, possibly into December.
My forecast run as of 4:21 p.m.

Hey Allan! Good to see you here...things are a little busier here in the blog as of late...this may be our next chase! Maybe our biggest!
